Spelling Bee
A confident Gifton Wright (left), The Gleaner's Children's Own Spelling Bee champion, and his coach, Reverend Glen Archer at the Scripps National Spelling Bee Orientation yesterday in Maryland, United States. The competition begins today with a computer spelling test, oral rounds tomorrow and then the semi-finals and finals on Thursday. This year, 278 spellers will compete for the championship.
