A broken main along Spanish Town Road in Kingston gushes water yesterday morning. Yesterday the National Water Commission (NWC) advised customers in sections of Kingston and St Andrew that, as a result of work being carried out by a telecommunications company, water supply to some communities had been temporarily disrupted due to damage to a distribution main along Spanish Town Road. The NWC assured that the disruption is not caused by strike action and that it hoped to have repairs completed and to have regular water restored to affected customers in the shortest possible time.
