Last thursday March 23,2017,Was an evening of class and elegance topped with feelings of gratitute and honour in the presence of Professor Carolyn Cooper at her retirement celebration.It was a bittersweet experience as persons were sad to see her go,but were extremely grateful for the tremendous role she played in the Department of literatures in English,but at the university on a whole.
