The Costa Luminosa was forced to await clearance for several hours before being allowed to dock at the Ocho Rios pier on February 29. A 68-year-old Italian man who was the Cayman Islands first confirmed coronavirus patient and its first virus-related death was a passenger aboard the Costa Luminosa along with a couple who were Puerto Rico’s two first COVID-19 cases.
